Meet Victor Magallanes Soto, affectionately known as ElPerdido, originally hailing from Nayarit, Mexico, but finding his roots in Reno, Nevada, during his formative years.

Victor’s journey into the realm of self-expression began early in life, branching across a diverse range of creative outlets including music, acting, writing, and athletics.

At the tender age of 12, Victor embarked on his musical odyssey, using nothing more than a stolen microphone from his middle school computer literacy class and a free version of Audacity. Through this journey, his passion for music production ignited and grew steadily over time.

Amidst life’s twists and turns, including personal losses and internal battles, Victor’s love for music endured. In October of 2022, he took a bold step forward, founding La Neta Records—a testament to his resilience and unwavering commitment to his craft.

As Victor observed the gradual evolution of La Neta Records, marked by the addition of new talents, crew members, and a cohesive team, he found fulfillment in realizing childhood dreams. Venturing into the realms of photography and filmmaking further expanded his creative horizons, enriching his artistic repertoire.

With each project and collaboration, whether in the United States or back in Mexico, Victor’s artistic prowess continued to flourish. His journey exemplifies the transformative power of passion, perseverance, and an unyielding pursuit of creative excellence.
